Domaine Lionel Faury 2023 Côte-Rôtie 'Les Brunes'
The star of the estate. From three distinct lieux-dits on schist and clay. I'm not one place. I'm three. And that's the point. Three soils in one bottle.

Rich, layered, confident without being loud. Speaks like a chamber ensemble — three voices in harmony. Doesn't monologue. Converses. Has the weight of Côte-Rôtie without the arrogance of it.
Serve & pair
Intimate conversations and lingering over a meal of duck. lamb or rabbit. Matured soft cheeses like Mont d'Or or Saint-Marcellin..
How it was made
Hand harvested. 70-80% de-stemmed. Fermentation lasts 18-22 days with pump-overs occurring twice daily. Aged 18 months in 600L - 220L oak, 30% new.
Producer
Three generations on the granite heights of Chavanay: Jean Faury settled Ribaudy in 1950, Philippe built the winery and began the label in 1979, and Lionel — the third generation — has made it definitively his own since 2006: Finer, fresher, more granite-driven wines that whisper instead of shout - and mean every word.
