Villa di Geggiano 2023 'Bandinello' IGT Toscana Rosso
The youngest of the Geggiano siblings. The kid who's still in his early twenties, all elbows and energy. It's meant to be enjoyed now. Not in ten years. Not after 3 hours of decanting. Tonight. It's not asking you to be patient. it's asking you to be here.

Serve & pair
Pour into a big glass and drink while you're still talking. Order in some pizza's. Make some pasta with red sauce while Leonard Cohen plays in the background. And maybe remember this is organic Sangio from a family that's owned the vineyard since 1527. Then keep talking.
How it was made
Coming from vines that are 4-20 years old, rooted in sand, silt and clay amidst skeletons of stones, in the village of Castelnuovo Berardenga. Hand harvested, destemmed and soft pressed. Fermented in stainless steel for about 16 days.
Producer
Villa di Geggiano is a multi-generational affair dating back to 1527. Located in the southern part of Chianti Classico they make artisanal wines that express it's geography, history and the personality of the vineyards. Today Gregorio Bandinelli, is the voice of the newest generation of the family who shepherds the passion, integrity and authenticity of Geggiano's tradition.
