A southern Rhône white blend — white peach, fennel and herbs de garrigue with a rounded, dry fresh finish in the classic Côtes du Rhône blanc style that's a little free spirited.
Serve & pair
Put me next to a chicken with olives. A tagine. A plate of grilled fish someone made 'from scratch' with whatever was in the fridge. I don't need a sommelier's pairing card. I just need you to not be alone while eating.
How it was made
Hand harvested at optimal ripeness. Direct press. Cold settled for 24 hours. Native yeast fermented for 10-15 days. Stainless steel for 3-6 months on fine lees. Unfiltered. Minimal Intervention.
Producer
Château de Trinquevedel was acquired in 1936 by Eugene Demoulin, who revitalized viticulture at this historic 18th-century estate located in the Southern Rhône in Tavel. Now in the hands of Guillaume and Céline Demoulin, fourth-generation winemakers, they cultivate 32ha of organic vines rooted in sandy, pebbly soils. "Ce Qui Nous Lie" represents the estate's more creative, natural, and non-AOC offerings, produced under Vin de France and Côtes du Rhône designations. Affording them greater freedom to express the terroir's freshness.
