In the glass

A juicy, playful and very quaffable red for everyone that is easy to understand. Cool-climate pinot — pale ruby, red currant, jumbled red berries, and hint of spice and forest floor, soft tannins and a stony Loire finish. Fresh and mouth-filling.

Serve & pair

Made to invite and harmony and easy conversation. As comfortable saddling up to roasted chicken, grilled salmon, grilled sausages or mushroom risotto as lounging casually noshing cheese and charcuterie or stoned-baked pizza.

Producer

From Domaine du Salvard, a working domaine since 1898. The Delaille family has passed down this estate through five hardworking generations. Today, all forty-two hectares of vineyards are farmed by the capable brother team of Emmanuel and Thierry Delaille, with help from their father Gilbert. The Delaille brothers have focused their attention on growing fresh, lively wines, deeply rooted in the sand, clay, and limestone plains of northeastern Touraine.
