Perfectly balancing Old World style with New World fruit, this cool-climate Cali Chard is a study in vibrancy and elegance. Hailing from a collection of Russian River Valley vineyards, the 2013 is aromatic, complex, and deep - in short, the perfect vintage.

100% Chardonnay

Credited with revolutionizing modern-day winemaking in California, David Ramey is universally respected among both critics and the winemaking community and has demonstrated equal mastery of red and white varietals. After a stint working for the Moueix family at the renowned Château Pétrus, David returned to California and helped to establish Chalk Hill, Matanzas Creek, Dominus Estate and Rudd Estate. His goal is to produce authentic, hand-crafted wines, made in an Old World tradition - coupled with New World innovation to highlight California terroir. He has continuously raised the bar for California Chardonnays and Bordeaux Blends, showing that it is not only France that is capable of making Grand Cru style wines, both classically and seductively, while gaining both critical admiration and wide appeal.
